Steve Chiles is a successful business leader with a unique blend of marketing and operations successes, with a focus on building high impact programs and cross-functional teams that heavily leverage digital marketing and emerging cloud technologies to drive significant revenue growth. 

Steve has built critical marketing, sales and operational value in key C-level roles within the internet start-up space with ShareFile, acquired by Citrix in 2011; Insurance.com, acquired by Quinstreet in 2010; and Reprise Media, acquired by The Interpublic Group in 2007. 

Prior to Chiles’ experience in internet start-ups he held a variety of interactive marketing leadership roles at AOL during the birth and subsequent growth of marketing on the web as we know it today.  During his 10 years at AOL, Chiles held positions overseeing AOL Productions and Publishing, at the time the largest interactive studio in the world; co-founded the Strategic Alliances team responsible for the largest interactive marketing programs at AOL and also oversaw the largest customer acquisition channel for AOL’s subscription business.

Most recently, Steve was the CMO of Majestic Steel USA where he successfully launched the steel industry’s first mobile app which saw adoption in 20 countries within 8 weeks of launch.  He also lead the creation of the company’s first web and social media strategies, among other critical marketing functions.

Earlier in his career, Steve spent several years in consumer packaged goods in an array of marketing and sales roles with PepsiCo, Kraft-General Foods and Campbell Soup.

Chiles holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) and attended the M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and I.E.S.E in Barcelona, Spain with studies in eCommerce and system dynamics.

Your stereotypical early adopter, Steve enjoys all things technology.  When he finds spare time, he is also an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast.  At the center of his world are his wife and their three beautiful children, along with a great dane, miniature dachshund and Frida, the cat.
